My final post.
I would like to leave a few words about the ending of my thanksgiving break.
I just reviewed something that seemed pretty cool to date with all my readers. Over the thanksgiving break I made a video on my iPhone 4 using iMovie. It was a great project since I have never used iMovie before on any Mac or even on my iPhone. The video has a few pictures and some laughter. Mostly coming from me and my younger brothers. That's really all I will see if I can try to get the video posted on here. It should be nice to see!

Oh the madness
So...iPhone does not have an app for Blogger....what is this? You can have apps for Wordpress and other blog sites but not blogger? I did some research and only came back with one result...an app that you have to buy...thats awesome...but no thanks...and it has nothing to do with blogger....it only allows you to view your profile...not post anything!
Yes...so it has been difficult doing blogs without the use of laptops and my awesome iphone...it has worked...but I caved in...I have an iPad now...and I am using it....right now. It has this pretty cool docking station + keyboard so it flows pretty well.
Since my thanksgiving holiday break only consisted of one post I have decided to blog about how I have been changed by the world of journalism...excited? Better be.
So journalism...I used to pay no attention to it at all...I am being honest and well, honesty is the key. So before journalism I was always social media this social media that...I programed sites and made skeptics into believers with my knowledge of social media strategies. I even had the chance to work with the Universities Marketing branch. That was exciting. But then it hit me....could journalism...be a source or social media....and could social media not exist without journalism??
Simple answer it no.
Journalism and social media go hand in hand just as marketing and advertising go together. I had no idea that something I love working on (social media) was pretty much journalism in a nutshell...
I did the same things. I would go out to the "field" collect information and interview and even post videos about the happenings at school.

Thanksgiving 2010!
Hey y'all sorry for the late post, busy with school and studying for all these crazy finals and all!
anyways on to the festivities of thanksgiving at the Roan Manor, It started off as any ordinary day and as always it started with me already dressed and ready to go while I wait for the lovely girlfriend to pick out which outfit she wanted to wear to my families house. After going through 5...or maybe 6 outfit changes we were ready to go!.
When we got there everything was awesome...there was food...lots of it as always, and football....and nerf...cant have a good thanksgiving without some good old american nerf football with the 4 younger brothers.
About the food. Mom made everything. Do you remember the ending of The Christmas Carol where Mr. Scrooge surprised the family with all the food...yeah think bigger and thats how much food there was. I was supposed to be losing weight for my Marine Corps PFT...that idea obviously went out the window.
After gorging my body with pounds of food and me and my girlfriend helped with the dishes...shocker for the Mom and Dad, I guess they weren't expecting me to help with the dishes. After all Dad always took control of that.
All in all at the end of the day everyone was tired....and full. It was a great day and what was even better was playing Call of Duty Black Ops with the brothers. That game is awesome and everyone needs to play it!

The Blog
New guy in the blogging community...what will happen? Who knows. All I know is I just figured out I can use my iPhone 4 to post on here...sweet.
So I am a twenty one year old college student at the University of West Florida...I advertise...I facebook. I am the social media guy in the University Commons....I also am going back to class.
